NEXMedium provided strategic media relations and public engagement support for the "Biashara Pawa" initiative in Kisumu. This project, a key intervention of the IYBA-SEED program, is led by SNV and aims to amplify the voices and visibility of women entrepreneurs in sectors where they are underrepresented.

NEXMedium provided strategic media relations and public engagement support for the “Biashara Pawa” initiative in Kisumu. Key Activities:

  • Media Outreach & Engagement: We worked with Wisehub Foundation to engage with local and national media to promote the Biashara Pawa initiative, specifically highlighting the launch event in Kisumu.
  • Storytelling & Amplification: Our efforts focused on showcasing the stories of women entrepreneurs and role models in underrepresented sectors such as technology, manufacturing, and the green economy.
  • Event Promotion: We supported the promotion of the first sector-based dialogue event in Kisumu, encouraging press, stakeholders, and community members to attend and participate.
  • Public Relations: We helped to position Wisehub Foundation and its partners as key drivers of inclusive entrepreneurship and economic development in the region.

Results:
